Today's Scenario: - The natural gas futures market is trading near its two-year low of $2.09 in the Asian session, following a sharp decline on Thursday. Despite a drawdown in natural gas inventory reported by the United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) for the week ending March 24, which was less than expected, natural gas prices continue to fall.

The drawdown reported by the EIA was 47 billion cubic feet (bcf), lower than the consensus of -54bcf and the previous release of 72bcf. The extended winter in northern America has delayed the need for air conditioning, resulting in weak demand for natural gas, which is weighing heavily on prices. Additionally, as oil prices decline, natural gas substitution is expected to become more attractive, further impacting prices.

Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index (DXY) is displaying a lackluster performance ahead of the release of the United States core Personal Consumption Expenditure (PCE) Price Index data.

Buy Scenario: - The market is expected to initiate an uptrend once it surpasses the resistance level of 74.05. This could be followed by a further increase to the resistance levels of 77.56 and 81.04. Traders should monitor the market closely for any signs of price movements that may indicate a change in trend direction, till we do not advise to buy in crude oil.

Selling Scenario: - The market may continue its downtrend as long as it remains below the resistance level of 74.05. This could lead to a further decline towards the support level of 64.36. Traders should monitor the market closely for any indications of a potential trend reversal or significant price movements that could impact trading decisions.
