Today's Scenario: - USD/CAD is currently hovering around 1.3500, after hitting a 1.5-month low earlier on Monday. The pair's sellers are taking a break after successfully breaking the short-term key support line, which is now acting as a resistance, as well as the 100-day moving average.

Buy Scenario: - In USD/CAD recovery moves the 100-DMA and the previous support line act as a barrier to short-term rebounds for USD/CAD near 1.3525 and 1.3565, respectively. However, a horizontal area comprising multiple levels marked since late February 2023, near 1.3650-55, could be a difficult level for USD/CAD to break through. A breakthrough this level could push back the bearish outlook, at least for a while. Till we do not advise to buy USD/CAD.

Sell Scenario: - USD/CAD is trading around 1.3500 after hitting a 1.5-month low on Monday. The pair's sellers have taken a pause after breaking through the short-term key support line, now acting as resistance, as well as the 100-day moving average. The bearish MACD signals are also supporting the sellers.
The pair is currently on track to test the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level of its upside move from November 2022 to March 2023, which is near 1.3470. However, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has fallen below the 50 level, suggesting that dip-buying could occur at lower levels and test the USD/CAD bears afterwards.
If the pair remains bearish below 1.3470, several levels around 1.3390 and 1.3320 could test USD/CAD sellers before highlighting an upward-sloping support line from November 15, 2022, near 1.3300. Till we do not advise to sell USD/CAD.
