Today's Scenario: - The US Dollar Index (DXY) is experiencing a pause in its recent bullish momentum, hovering around the 102.10-15 level during early Tuesday's trading. The index had reached a two-week high and extended its three-day uptrend on the previous day. However, fresh fears of a US default have dampened the greenback's performance against six major currencies, as markets return from the holiday.
The US Treasury Department's recent announcement has renewed concerns about the possibility of a US default if the current debt ceiling is not adjusted by June 01. Previously, the deadline was signaled to be in July. The US Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen, warned in a letter to Congress that the agency may not be able to meet all of its debt obligations by June 1, which has added urgency to the discussions in Congress.

Buy Scenario: - The US Dollar Index (DXY) has turned bullish as buyers were able to surpass the previous main high at $101.940, indicating a shift in the main trend. The next targets for buyers are the Fibonacci level at $102.310, followed by a main top at $102.480. If this top is broken, it will confirm the uptrend with the next target being the 50% level at $102.918. Till we do not advise to buy US Dollar Index.

Sell Scenario: - On the downside, there is minor support at 101.390, followed by a short-term support zone between $101.230 and $101.039. This is the last support area before reaching the main bottom at 101.039. If the price drops below this level, it will change the main trend to bearish. Till we do not advise to sell in US Dollar Index
