Today's Scenario: - NZD/USD has reached its highest level of the week, reaching the multi-day top near 0.6300, as a result of the positive China activity data for March, which was published early Friday. The Kiwi pair is benefiting from the overall weakness of the US Dollar, which is being influenced by the market's cautious optimism, as well as the decreasing chances of a hawkish Federal Reserve (Fed). Mixed US data is also contributing to the Kiwi's strength.

Buy Scenario: - The New Zealand Dollar (NZD) will be closely watched ahead of the release of China's Caixin Manufacturing PMI data on Monday, as New Zealand is one of China's top trading partners. A higher PMI figure could strengthen the NZD.

On a two-hour chart, the NZD/USD is at a critical point near the downward-sloping trendline of a Symmetrical Triangle pattern. The Kiwi is currently trading above the 50-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA), indicating a bullish short-term trend. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) (14) is also looking to climb above 60.00, which could activate bullish momentum.

If the NZD/USD breaks above the March 29 high at 0.6272, it could reach the March 23 high at 0.6295, followed by the February 07 high at 0.6363. Till we do not advise to buy NZD/USD.

Sell Scenario: - On the other hand, if it breaks below the March 21 low at 0.6167, it could fall towards the March 15 low at 0.6139, with further downside potential towards the round-level support at 0.6100. Till we do not advise to sell NZD/USD.
