Today's Scenario: - On Thursday, the NZD/USD pair experienced volatile trading, moving from a low of 0.6114 to a high of 0.6161. The Kiwi has gained about 0.5% during the New York FX session, with analysts at ANZ Bank attributing the increase to mixed US data, as well as a rebound in equities and commodities. Despite the choppy trading, the pair is slightly higher as of Friday morning.

Buy Scenario: - The NZD/USD pair has regained its upside momentum after two failed attempts to cross the 200-DMA hurdles, and is currently trading around the mid-0.6100s in early Friday trading. Despite the repeated failures to cross the 200-DMA resistance level, which is currently at around 0.6160, the steady RSI (14) line is signaling further upward movement for the Kiwi pair.
However, bearish MACD signals are still weighing on the pair's prices, and even if it manages to break above the 200-DMA resistance level, a downward-sloping resistance line from early April, around 0.6180, could pose a challenge to further upside movement. Additionally, multiple levels marked during late March around the 0.6200 threshold can act as the last line of defense for the bears. Till we do not advise to buy NZD/USD.

Sell Scenario: - On the downside, the recent bottom around the 0.6100 level could provide support before directing the bears to the key support line that stretches from November 2022, currently around 0.6090. A daily closing below this level could lead to a test of the previous monthly low of near 0.6085, followed by the mid-November 2022 bottom of around 0.6065 as an additional support level. Till we do not advise to sell NZD/USD.

Support and Resistance Level: -
S1 0.6120-R1 0.6168
S2 0.6093-R2 0.6189
S3 0.6072-R3 0.6216
