Today's Scenario: - The NZD/USD pair has been trading sluggishly during the Asian session but has managed to hold onto the key support level of 0.6200. The pair is currently approaching the resistance level of 0.6220, supported by a weaker US Dollar Index (DXY).
At the same time, S&P500 futures have been declining, indicating cautious market sentiment among investors who are concerned about the future performance of equities. Commercial banks in the US have shown mixed performance, causing investor anxiety over the quarterly performance of banking stocks, especially after the market turbulence in March and the tight credit conditions imposed by banks.

Buy Scenario: - To regain momentum, the NZD/USD bulls need to break through the 50-DMA hurdle of 0.6230 and successfully break the previous support line that was stretched from early March, which is currently near 0.6315. In this case, the buyers could push the pair to refresh the monthly high, currently around 0.6385. Till we do not advise to buy NZD/USD.

Sell Scenario: - The NZD/USD pair is showing signs of weakness as it renews its intraday low to 0.6190 during early trading on Wednesday. The pair has failed to cross the 50-day moving average (DMA) hurdle and has retreated from slightly below it, as well as losing the bounce off the 200-DMA that occurred earlier in the week.
The RSI (14) line has been steady, indicating that the NZD/USD price may continue to trade sideways between the 50-DMA and 200-DMA, which are respectively located near 0.6230 and 0.6160.
If the pair fails to break through the 50-DMA, it is likely to drop towards the 200-DMA support of 0.6160. If the NZD/USD falls below this level, it could test the yearly low marked in March around 0.6080. The bears could then be attracted to the 50% and 61.8% Fibonacci retracement levels of the Kiwi pair's run-up from October 2022 to February 2023, which are around 0.6025 and 0.5900 respectively. Till we do not advise to sell NZD/USD.
