Today's Scenario: - The NZD/USD pair is currently trading in a narrow range of 0.6210-0.6220 during the Asian session, with the Kiwi asset showing sideways movement due to a recovery in the US Dollar Index after a significant sell-off. Furthermore, the upbeat China trade data for March, which showed an expansion in exports by 14.8%, failed to have a significant impact on the New Zealand Dollar. While China's Trade Balance data (in US Dollars) was significantly higher than the consensus at $88.19B, it was lower than the previous release of $116.8B. Meanwhile, annual imports contracted by 1.4% versus the expected contraction of 5%.

Buy Scenario: - An upside breakout above the February 07 high of 0.6363 could expose the Kiwi asset to the round-level resistance at 0.6400 and December 05 high at 0.6443. Till we do not advise to buy NZD/USD.

Sell Scenario: - On the other hand, the US Dollar Index is attempting to maintain its position above 101.50 after an intense sell-off. The New Zealand Dollar has been on a negative trajectory since the breakdown of the Rising Channel chart pattern formed on a four-hour scale. The 20 and 50-period Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) at 0.6217 and 0.6236, respectively, are currently acting as hurdles for the Kiwi asset. The major has potential horizontal support at the March 08 low of 0.6084. Till we do not advise to sell NZD/USD.
