Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index (MCSI)
- 0.9 point: Decline was the largest since October 2015
- 3 points: Displaying almost double decline from last month, which is why we've called it as intensifying uncertainty over the future of our economy!
- 4 points: The confidence was highest in April 2016 when it went up by 4 points! We can see that things are still looking good for our state but with an increasing number of uncertain factors along with poor performance by several sectors within few months, there's no denying that things are not going as well as they should've been going by now.
- 6 and 7 points: Not only did people expect further decline in MCSI after April 2016 but they also expected worse results this time around considering the previous one.
