Lithuania Litai is the currency of Lithuania. The Lithuanian dollar (LTL) is subdivided into 100 cents. Frequently used banknotes are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 litai. Frequently used coins are in denominations of 1, 2, 5 and 10 cents as well as multiples of 1 cent up to 50 cents.The litai has been the currency of Lithuania since 1993, when it replaced the Soviet ruble. One litas was equal to 100 cents. In 2015, the euro became the official currency of Lithuania and 1 euro was equal to 3.4528 Lithuanian litas.
