The Eurozone is a group of countries located in Western Europe which use the euro as their currency. The name eurozone is derived from the Greek word "ou Tsriou" (Ουρίων), which means the "tribute paid to Zeus" and thus "all, everything." There are also several other countries that may be considered part of the eurozone but aren't officially recognized by the EU, such as Andorra, LieIn the eurozone, Germany, France and Italy are responsible for 75% of the eurozone economies' emissions by 2030. These countries are home to some of the highest levels of air pollution. Air pollution can cause a number of health problems, including an increase in asthma notification rates (to a total of 24 million people), heart attacks, strokes and even cancer. This study aims to assess the air pollution levels in the EU's cities and give every resident of the EU a chance to live with better air quality.
