The market is constantly changing and the market for companies that completely dispose of their assets is booming. Companies are able to sell shares of their business or get rid of it outright. A Disposition is the act of selling or otherwise "disposing" of an asset or security. The most common form of a disposition would be selling a stock investment on the open market, such as a stock exchange. There are a number of different dispositions, which are all defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The most common disposition is the open market sale.
